Antonino - Bleggi Family Reunion

We went down by Fountain Green for a family reunion this weekend. It was a bit hot but we finally got a chance to use our new house trailer. At the family reunion they do races with the kids in age groups and then they let them go through sawdust to find candy and money. The kids love it. After all that fun they rented a blow up waterslide for the kids (and some adults). While they were going down the slide, Logen was soaking wet (obviously) and Chad told him to go and give his Uncle Nino and big hug. Logen gave him a hug and everytime he got off the slide would go and hug him making Uncle Nino soaking wet also. It was so cute. One time he fell and got mud all over his hands and hugged him making Nino's shirt all muddy.

Chad is half Italian so they have an Italian dinner during the reunion called Palenta (may be spelled wrong). They cover it with stew and serve it with italian sausage cooked with cabbage, spaghetti, salad, and bread. The family looks forward to this meal every year. And my kids actually liked it. I was kind of surprised, I think it is an aquired taste. I will eat it, but I am not in love with it.

We had a great time, getting to see everyone again.

Muttin Bustin

At Tuesday's Fiesta Days Rodeo, Dagen did the preshow Muttin Bustin. He had many supporters there to watch him. Dagen was all cowboyed up with the Wrangler Jeans, boots, and a new cowboy hat. He was so nervous to get on that sheep. But he got on and rode like the wind, well until his hat fell off after about a second. He was so worried about his hat that he just let go so he could get it. Darn it, I thought he was going to ride across the arena. Oh well, I just proud of him for getting on the sheep in the first place.

Dagen is getting a pep talk from his dad, before he gets on the sheep.

Dagen getting on the sheep - a bit nervous - but excited!!

Dagen all done riding - I thought I took pics of him on the ride, but they were all of the ground, I must not have been paying too much attention to the camera!

A few random pics of the rodeo! I thought that it was a really good show this year. I really like it when they get The Wild Child to perform. My kids loved the motorcycle performance. I never got any pics of that though. Also my step brother, Jordan, does team roping and he competed that same night, so we got to watch him also. It was a 2 for 1.

Dagen and Logen enjoying the show!

Graden loved watching the horses, he just pointed the whole time.

Dagen, Logen and Bridger - I think they forgot they were at the RODEO!! Not the biker convention!

Fondue Night

I just wanted to tell Nicky THANKS for a great fondue night. A bunch of cousins all got together, each bringing something to contribute for the delicious event. We made four different cheese fondues and had a variety of things to dunk in them. It was fantabulous!! After alot of cheese and full tummy they pulled out the desserts. There was a chocolate, caramel and white chocolate with cinnamon fondues. We dipped all sorts of yummy treats. By this time we were so full we couldn't move.

So thanks to Nicky for hosting a great party and inviting me to participate. I had a great time. It is always good to catch up with everyone.

Memory Lane

This will be fun especially if everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE will join in! This is just too fun to pass up.

Here are the directions:1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember, good or bad but be nice!!!!!!!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.
We can make it a competition if anyone wants. Let's see who can come up with the funniest memory and who has the most memories. Please keep it going. ENJOY :)

Graden's First Birthday Party

Swimming Lessons

We started swimming lessons last week with Abbie. My kids love it. They talk all year long about swim lessons and Abbie. Everytime we go past her moms house they always let me know that that is where they take swimming lessons. Here are a few pics of the kids.

Dagen just hanging out of the pool. And then Dagen jumping off the diving board.

Logen does mommy and me classes, this is him swimming with me. And then the last pic is him just being goofy. He found these goggles in the basket. Wow!

Graden also does mommy and me classes. Thanks to Abbie for helping out with this. Logen and Graden get to be in the same class.

T-Ball is Finished

We have really enjoyed going to watch Dagen play T-ball. His team is such a hoot. At this age, they don't really want to pay attention and just want to talk, pull the grass, or wear the mitt as a hat. But that was the enjoyment.

Dagen is sitting on the ground closest to the coach. Thanks Matt for a great year.
