Happy Easter
We had a super busy weekend. On Friday Grandpa Clive and Kris stopped by with an Easter treat for all of us.

Saturday morning we got up and went to the Annual Easter egg hunt at the ballpark. It was raining but the kids didn't mind. I took Graden, Chad and Mark took Logen and my mom took Dagen. I didn't get any pics of this, I guess I didn't want my camera to get all wet. But they had a great time. At the end of the hunt they had people walking around with extra eggs for people. They did too many this year, or maybe the rain scared everyone off.
We then went to Chad's cousin Kim's house for another easter gathering. Everyone takes prizes (candy or toys) up early so they can hide them in the woods behind their house. We all got a list of things to find and off we went.

Graden searching for his prizes - he was having so much fun in the mud!!

Dagen having a good time. He really had a great time doing all the activities this year.

Logen ran out of the woods too fast. I guess there was an available swing and he needed to get on it first.
We had a great time at Kim's. Thanks for hosting this every year. Sorry we had to run out so fast.
After Kim's, we came home and Chad sold his motorcycle. YEAH!!! Not really now he wants to buy a different one. Boys and their toys.
We then went down to my moms. The kids colored eggs, went on an egg hunt, then went on a treasure hunt. After all that fun, we finally got them to eat something.

Dagen coloring eggs. I forgot to get my camera out before the other ones got their eggs colored.

Waiting to go on the egg hunt.
On Sunday the kids woke up early wanting to see what the bunny had brought them. Can't we ever sleep in around here. Anyway, we got up and let them search for their baskets.

Aren't they adorable!?!?

Dagen looking in the oven for his basket.

And then in the closet.
Dagen found everyone's baskets. Logen's was hidden in the office on the chair under some stuff. Graden's was hidden in the laundry basket under the clothes waiting to be folded. And Dagen's was hidden in the video game bag behind the TV. After finding all the baskets we decided to get the kids fed, bathed, and dressed before sending them out to find the eggs that the bunny left behind.

After we found all the eggs we put the new trampoline mat on so they could go play on it. They had a ball jumping on a tramp that wasn't broken. Then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa B's.
We then went on a prize hunt and found some neat stuff.

We played with the horses, jumped on the tramp, and visited with everyone.

We had a fantastic Easter and hope that everyone else did as well.

Kindy Car 500
Dagen had his Kindy car race yesterday. They did a sweet little program and sang some patriotic songs. It was so fun to watch him with all the hand motions that they had learned to go with the songs. He is getting way too big way too fast. I recorded the program with the video camera so I didn't get any still shots of them singing. But here is the car that we worked really hard on.

It took us nearly three weeks from start to finish. Although we didn't spend every waking moment on it, just when we had some spare time we would play around with it. He wanted an Optimus Prime car (which is a semi).

Here is Taite and her car. She had an apple truck from Wyoming. It was too cute.

They all got a key to their car and a drivers license so they could go on a road trip. They visited several national monuments and learned interested facts about each one. They had such a great time.

Also, Dagen lost another tooth last night. We actually had to be aggressive at getting this tooth out since his new tooth is coming in behind it the wrong direction. So we had to get it out quick. He was a bit mad at us, but now he doesn't care because the tooth fairy brought him some money. Thanks for being such a brave boy Dagen.
We are so proud of you. You have grown up to be such a handsome, smart boy. I loved watching you in your program. You did such a great job. We love you!

Interesting....
Yesterday we decided to paint Dagen's Kindy car since it finally stopped storming. So we went out and got it all painted blue. Logen kept touching it and got blue paint all over his hands. I scrubbed as much as he would allow so there was still some on the sides of his fingernails today. So this is how our conversation went from here:
Logen: Mom, can you open my finger?
Mom: Why do you need your finger opened?
Logen: Because there is water in here and the fishies need to get out.
Mom: You have fishies in your finger?
Logen: Yeah, and they can't breathe in the water in my finger, please get them out.
Interesting, I don't know how to get those darn fishies out of the water in his fingers. Does anybody else have this problem, it is new to me so I don't know what to do to open that finger up so I can get them out. Kids say the darndest things! Love ya Lo Lo!!!
