Mom's Jumpin' Jack Christmas

My mom held her annual Christmas party yesterday. We went to Jumpin' Jacks and then back to her house for some very delicious dinner, followed by a visit from Santa Claus! The kids had so much fun jumping and sliding. The pics didn't turn out all that well. I was using Chad's camera and I must have had it on a wrong setting because everything turned out really fuzzy. But here are some of the better ones.

Dagen

Logen kind of tumbled here!

Graden did not love the place for quite awhile, but after a bit we couldn't get him off the slides. And of course he was too little to go up them alone. So I would have to go on them also.

The whole family - although you can't see Dagen and Logen they are in the middle of Chad and I.

Graden and Santa - still doesn't like him!

Logen and Santa
And I have no idea why I don't have any pictures of Dagen sitting on Santa's lap. What a bad mom!

Anyway, thanks Mom for the great party. We all had a great time!

Skating Christmas Party

Every year for Christmas we go to Classic Skating with my dad's family. It has been a tradition since I can remember. the kids have so much fun skating or riding their scooters. We eat, sit on Santa's lap, eat, skate, and eat! This year, my cousin made some super cute hats for all the kids!

Dagen

Logen

Graden, he doesn't like Santa yet! Big, scary, hairy man!

The kids with Santa - they were singing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Santa said our family needs singing lessons, what is he talking about we are pros!

Santa, Grandma, and Grandpa

Well if I don't happen to post before Christmas since it gets a bit chaotic, Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Hope everyone has a great holiday!

Christmas Movie

Today Dagen got to go on his first bus ride. He was so excited to go on a bus. They went to Provo to see the movie "Horton Hears a Who". I asked how his first bus ride was. And this is what he said "It was way too far to drive a little car so we had to take a big bus. But mom I got to sit right next to my best friend, Cameron, and he is so funny. He made me laugh the whole time." Sounds like they had a great time. And the best part is I didn't have to go. Therefore, I didn't have to chase two little rascals around the theater.

Isabel After Surgery

You can check Isabel's blog here for an update of her surgery. But Heather sent this picture last night. It was Isabel having dinner. She requested chicken nuggets, a slushie, and fruit loops. She seems to be doing very well and we are thinking of her and her family. Thanks for all the prayers from everyone.

Random Stuff

So it has been awhile since I posted anything fun. So here is a few random pics from the past few weeks.

Graden smiling for the camera - this is when he first noticed I had it out.

This is when he was trying to get the camera from me.

Graden being really mad, that I won't give him the camera.

Mean mom!

Threw himself on the ground and is now pouting. I think I won the camera battle!

Dagen and Logen hiding behind the couch playing the Leapsters. I think they were hiding from the camera monster (Graden)!

Dagen putting chapstick on Logen.

The Christmas tree is up so where else is a better place to fall asleep than underneath it? Graden and Woody (in-laws puppy)

We went to the light parade on Friday but the pics didn't work very good. We didn't have a good spot but here is some hopefully they look alright!

The boys and I

Chad talking the phone the whole time! Boring!

Okay after looking at all of them they all looked like a big blur of lights. But this is the train that the boys really loved. Hope you can all make a train out of that?!?!

Girls Trip to Mesquite

So we needed a break from all the husbands and hunting. So we took a little trip down to Mesquite. We stayed in my mom's condo and just relaxed and goofed around. We had so much fun. The trip included Jen, Sara, Brittney, Erica and myself. We decided to dress up in 80s clothes and do our hair in the very fashionable 80s do's, we looked so goofy but we had a great time making fools of ourselves. The same night of the 80s, my friends surprised me with a little birthday surprise since my birthday is coming up soon. It was so sweet. They gave me a letter that took us on a picture scavenger hunt. I had to get a picture doing a handstand in front of the waterfall at Casablanca, find a group of people to sing "I'm a little teapot" for me, and find the oldest man around to give me a birthday kiss on the cheek. It was pretty funny since we were all dressed in 80s garb trying to find people to sing. But here are some pics of our fun getaway!

Learning how to use the timer, I think we did pretty good!

My Birthday Surprise!

Our 80s Night!

The handstand in front of Casablanca, I don't have the other pictures from the scavenger hunt, I will have to get them.

Thanks ladies for a very unforgettable weekend!(or maybe we should forget the outfits, and the weird looks we got!) Love ya all!

4th in the 4th

4th Photo in the 4th Folder Tag!

Thanks Jessica for tagging. I know I am late doing this, but I have been busy. So this is a picture of my brother Brady racing his snowmobile. I think this was taken in 2002 and I am not exactly sure of which race it was. But this is the year he was the National Champion Hillclimber for the Semi Pro Class!

I tag Tiffany, Heather, Christy, Jalyce! Have fun!

Halloween 2008

So this a bit late, but I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween. My kids had so much fun and looked great in their costumes. I had a hard time getting Dagen to to get his picture taken, but I do have a picture of him from another party. Dagen was Optimus Prime the Transformer, Logen was a skeleton without a mask (he refused to wear it), and Graden was a Disco baby!

We also went up to Cornbelly's last week, but stay tuned for those pics. I am out of time! Have a great day everyone!

Vineyard Pumpkin Patch

Last week I took the kids out to the Vineyard Pumpkin Land. It was really cute. We went in the corn maze and found the witch who told us the secret password for the kids to get a treat at the end of the maze. After the maze we went to see all the animals. And then to the playground. They had a giant pumpkin that you could sit in and tunnels for the kids to climb through. After we (or I should say I) was finished with the playground we went into the lighted area. They had Cinderella's carriage and tons of different Halloween themes lighted up. It was really cute. Here is some pics of the kids.

I also went last week to see Thriller with some friends. But I didn't take any pics of the show. But here is a pic of us at dinner. We had such a great time. I love the tradition that we have started doing. We have gone the last few years and have a great time every year. Thanks girls for a great time!

Busy Week!

Okay so we had a busy week. We went up to Gardners Village for the witch festival. The kids and I went with: Glenda (Chad's mom), Christy, Heather, Tiffany (Chad's sisters), Joan (Chad's Aunt), and all the kids! We had a great time. The kids love to see the witches and especially love to shop at the candy store!

On Wednesday, we had a family birthday party for Logen. He had all of his cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents over. He got lots of great gifts. Our little guy doesn't love cake but loves ice cream so I made him an ice cream cake instead. He was so funny he didn't want the cake that was given to him on his plate he wanted it straight out of the pan. He was even feeding Grandma Deb out of the pan also. He is such a crazy kid. But he brings so much laughter in our family. Thank you everyone that came to celebrate his special day with us.

Friday came and it was time to go to the cabin for the annual deer hunt! I stayed Saturday morning with the kids while Chad, Matt and Jen all went out looking for the monster buck. But didn't find one. So that evening we took the kids out on the boat to the island in Strawberry and looked for the monster there. We found some good bucks but it was getting too late to go after them, we will get them in the morning. As we were looking around the island Saturday we watched a deer swim across the lake. It was pretty amazing, the kids loved watching all the deer. Sunday morning came and we went out to stalk the bucks. We got to the island, parked the boat and started hiking (very big island). We were going after some bucks, so we went up the ridge next to them and got up there and just when we finally got to a point to see them, they went over the top of the hill. So we hiked clear throughout the entire island, but never found another buck. Pretty depressing. So our hunt ended for the weekend and we will have to start all over again next weekend.

Logen on the boat.

It is kind of hard to see, but this is the picture of the deer swimming across the lake. We didn't want to get too close, we were afraid that it would panic and drown.

Matt, Larry(fishing), and Chad after our forever long hike on Sunday.

Jen is going to kill me for posting this pic, but don't you just love her outfit! This is after the hike on Sunday also.

Graden liked playing in Woody's(Larry and Glenda's puppy) dog kennel.

Logen's 3rd birthday was Sunday. So after our hunt we made him the usual pancake with a candle and sang to him. We stopped at Grandpa Clive's and Kris' on our way home. They gave him a really fun train set. They made cupcakes and sang to him. We stopped at Morgan's house (Chad's niece) for her birthday party also. Logen, Morgan, and Grandma Shirley (Chad's G-ma) all share the same birthday! We finally made it home from the cabin and threw together some dinner and let Logen open his birthday gifts from us. He got a Leapster (he always takes Dagen's), transformer, movies, and clothes! I think he had a pretty fun day! Happy Birthday Little Man, We Love You!!
