The day after getting our pictures done, I was at my softball game and got hit in the eye with a ball. I had to go to the ER and received 2 layers of stitches. There were 4 stitches on the inside and 8 on the out. It doesn't look too bad now and the stitches blend with my eyebrow. Makeup covers the bruising so you can't tell too much. My eye was so swollen the next day I could only open it half way. But all the swelling is gone now and I am doing great! I love this sport!!! Really I do and can't wait for our next game this week. I missed both the games last week since I was injured in the first inning of our first game. Sorry ladies, I will try to make up for this week!

All done!! Not too bad, I was scared to death to get the stitches. When I was younger I had stitches in my finger and they didn't get me all the way numb before starting and I was afraid the same was going to happen again. I know I can have three kids and deal with that pain, but to get stitches I was afraid. I am such a WIMP!
This pic was taken two days later. That was as wide as I could open my eye. And there is no makeup on it either, but it still doesn't show the coloring very well. Oh well, it was a phone camera so I can't complain too much.

Pics are Amazing.....I absolutely can't get all mine to hold still at the same time for a pic...well mostly my youngest two kiddos...I think that is so awesome that you are still playing baseball, I rememeber countless games that I went to watch you-my other 'sis' play a ball game. How did you kids handle mommy getting hurt, it always seem okay for anybody else to be hurt but the MOM. I bet they spoiled you! Kids are so sweet!
