Fiesta Days 2009

Wow did we have a busy week! We started off our holiday celebration by going to the Fish Rodeo. Yes I forgot my camera so I only took one picture with my phone. So it really isn't that great. Dagen and Logen did the fish rodeo. Dagen was scared and really cautious, he didn't like the fish running into his legs. Logen he just loved being in the water. He didn't care that there were fish in there.

Our next event was the Stock Parade. I have always enjoyed going to this since it doesn't have too many people and it isn't that long. Also the kids go to the parades and get more excited about the animals than anything else. So it is perfect, but there isn't any candy being thrown, so that is the downside! No pics for this either. Geez, I am a bad mom!
The next night we went to the rodeo. Dagen was Muttin Bustin in it and he was so excited, yet very nervous!

Can you tell he is a bit nervous!? We are just proud that he got on the sheep and rode. Though he didn't ride that far he got on with a great big grin!

See that smile!

The next day was the big parade! The parade was actually better this year than it has been in the past years. It wasn't too long and they threw candy. Just to make the kids happy and sticky!

After the parade we went swimming with Tiffany and the kids to her in-laws. Again, I didn't get the camera out. I was busy dunking the kids what can I say! After some much needed naps we headed out to the carnival.

Logen and Kambree in the back. Dagen and Graden in the front.

Logen and Graden on the motorcycles.

Dagen waiting patiently to go on the big kid rides. I actually am waiting for the pics (hint, hint Tiff) to be emailed to me.
Then it was off to the fireworks.

I think that one was loud all the kids have their ears covered.

Graden enjoying his Jen time.
And that was all for Fiesta Days!

Last night we decided to take Logen's training wheels off and see how he does. Well now I can't get him off the bike! He does really well. Even starting on flat ground he just takes off!

Now maybe he can keep up with Dagen. Good job Logen! You learned that so quickly!

T-Ball

Dagen has had so much fun playing t-ball. He had a great coach and fun friends on his team. He was on the Tigers this year. It is so much fun to watch them play at this age, they get interested in what is going on off the field than where the ball is. So funny! Anyway here are some pics of him playing ball. Thanks to his coach Brad and his wife Bristy they were great with the kids! Also thanks for taking all the pics they are going to be great for many years to come!

Nice Form!

Hey Batter Batter!

When your sliding into third and you feel....haha gotcha I am not going to finish it!

It really was a good hit!

The team! Great job Tigers...you did awesome this year!

Happy 2nd Birthday Graden!

Geez - has it already been two years. It seemed like just last December at the Roundy family Christmas party that I snuck a little present into Santa's bag to make the announcement. When Santa said baby Bringhurst everyone looked at Logen and told him to go sit on his lap. That is when I stood up and said it isn't for Logen. I think everyone was about to have a heart attack. Logen was barely one so Graden came as a big surprise. But a surprise that is so stinking cute. He has such a fun little personality. But oh is he mischevious!!! We couldn't imagine our lives without him.

For his birthday we went to see the movie UP. We had the theatre all to ourselves so it was great taking him. He never sits through an entire movie. So that was awesome! We went to Kambree's birthday. They share a birthday, but it isn't my fault he was suppose to be here a day earlier. The Dr. took forever to get to the hospital so he ended up being born at 12:29 am. Oh well they will always have it as there own special little day if that is what we make it.

We had a family party for him the following day. He thought that was pretty great. He blew out his candles and was so proud of himself. There was more toys than anyone could ever imagine. It looked like Christmas for all three of my boys. Thank you everyone Graden had a great birthday! We love you Graden, you are the sweetest little baby. (I know your not a baby anymore, but you are mine!)

Since it was his birthday he thought he could do whatever he wanted...including taking the frosting off the cake!

The Cake - I always make a homemade cake but this time I didn't - lazy I guess!

We got Graden a little pool and some noodle squirt guns for them all to play with.

Happy Birthday Graden! We love you so much!

Britt, Mom, Bear, and Park - wow that's alot!

One of my good friends Brittney had a baby last Thursday. They had a very handsome baby boy, Lincoln. He is so cute!!

He even got cuter when I went to see him last night. What a joy. But i am definitely glad it is them and not me. (Up all night and all day)lol

My mom's bday... she is going to kill me for this, but I have to!!

We went to Los Hermanos and they made her wear the hat!! HeHe

My brother, Brady shot a bear a few weeks back. He brought it by the house for the boys to see. They weren't that excited one bit. They took off into the house before we could get any pics with them and the bear.

The back paws

I am going on a bear hunt..gonna get a big one...and he did!

A day at the park...we went to the park for a bit a few weeks ago. There was a guy across the parking lot flying a remote control airplane. Logen took off and was trying to catch it. I couldn't get any good pics of the airplane, so just imagine one in the sky and them chasing it. haha

Dagen and Logen sticking their heads through the holes in the tunnel.

Hey guys - you're going the wrong way!

Swimming Lessons

My kids love to go to swimming lessons, well 2 of the 3 isn't bad anyway. Dagen has improved so well. He can swim all by himself in the deep. He does such a great job and loves to swim. Logen loves to dunk his head under the water and POP! up. He isn't very interested in listening to what Abbie is trying to teach though. But he loves to be in the water. Graden...well...Graden loves to be in the water as long as I am in with him. I didn't swim with him for a few of the lessons so I brought along my niece Morgan to swim with him. He didn't love that too much. He did love to sit on the stairs and play with the toys though. Thanks Abbie for being so patient with my kids, they are such handfuls at times.

Dagen's Kindergarten Graduation

WOW! I can't believe I now have a 1st grader. It makes me feel so old! Okay enough about me let's talk about my boy. Dagen's program was so cute. He did his sign language and actions to the songs so well. I was so proud of him. This year has gone by so quick. And to be honest I have actually liked having him around the past few days. However I can't wait for Logen to start preschool this fall! Dagen I want to let you know how much I love you and how proud your dad and I are of you. You have grown up so much this past year. I always say I am excited for you to start school all day, but I know deep down I am going to miss you like crazy while you are gone. You are the best helper with your brothers. They look up to you so much. Keep up the good work you are going to do great in 1st grade.

Here are a few pics of my little man!

What a heartbreaker, he is so handsome!

Wow, he is really getting into it!

Dagen and Mrs. Barber - she is the best teacher around. He has really enjoyed school this year because of her. Thanks so much Mrs. Barber we love you!

Here is some pics from when we went for a ride on Saturday with Logen and Graden. Dagen wanted to stay and play with the other kids at the cabin.

He has such a sweet and innocent smile. But what lurks behind it is a bit scary!!!

I think he was a little bit tired. Mouth wide open, I hope no bugs flew in!!!

Long Time No Post

We went and got our family pictures done last week and I love the way they turned out. Thanks Brooke, you did an amazing job. The kids just wanted to play and did not want to pose, but Brooke got the job done. I went through and picked just a few of the MANY to post. Here they are:

WARNING IF CUTS AND BLOODS MAKE YOU WEAK DO NOT SCROLL DOWN!

The day after getting our pictures done, I was at my softball game and got hit in the eye with a ball. I had to go to the ER and received 2 layers of stitches. There were 4 stitches on the inside and 8 on the out. It doesn't look too bad now and the stitches blend with my eyebrow. Makeup covers the bruising so you can't tell too much. My eye was so swollen the next day I could only open it half way. But all the swelling is gone now and I am doing great! I love this sport!!! Really I do and can't wait for our next game this week. I missed both the games last week since I was injured in the first inning of our first game. Sorry ladies, I will try to make up for this week!

This was waiting in the ER for the doc to stitch me up!

This is getting stitched up!

All done!! Not too bad, I was scared to death to get the stitches. When I was younger I had stitches in my finger and they didn't get me all the way numb before starting and I was afraid the same was going to happen again. I know I can have three kids and deal with that pain, but to get stitches I was afraid. I am such a WIMP!

This pic was taken two days later. That was as wide as I could open my eye. And there is no makeup on it either, but it still doesn't show the coloring very well. Oh well, it was a phone camera so I can't complain too much.

Spring Break a Couple Weeks Late

Okay so spring break was a while ago and I have been going to post the pics, but I have just been too busy reading everyone elses to update my own. So over spring break we went up to the Dinosaur Musem at Thanksgiving Point. The kids had so much fun. We also went to the movie to see Monsters VS. Aliens. So cute, I was really surprised that Logen actually made it through the whole movie with only one bathroom break. He usually gets bored and has to keep moving around. That's why we buy treats right? So here are some pics from the museum. Enjoy!
