Drill Team Reunion
The greatest drill team coach ever, Michelle, is retiring at the end of this year. So she put together a drill team reunion. We got together on Thursday evening and mingled for awhile. We then split into groups and learned dances from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, to perform at halftime during the Homecoming game on Friday night. I realized when we started dancing that I am not as young as I used to be. Wow was I sore the next day. I performed in the group of the 90s. It had a total of 12 girls in it. I thought that I was going to be a little more hidden in the groups since it is teams since 1980. That is 28 years worth of teams and I just so happened to pick the group that had fewer people. There was probably a total of 130 girls. But it was so great to see everyone, well that showed up, since there was only 2 girls from my senior class that did it. But it was still fun. I forgot my camera both nights, but Leslie said that she would email them to me. So when she does I will post some pics. Thanks Michelle for a great reunion. You are the best coach ever. And all the girls love and look up to you alot.
