Conversations with Dagen

After School Conversation

Me: How was school?
Taite: Good
Dagen; Good
Me: What did you do?
Taite: Colored
Dagen: Stared at each other

So this is funny because I asked him what he did at school the other day and he said "nothing." So I replied, you just sat and stared at each other the whole time? He laughed. So now he actually has replied to my question the same way for the past couple of days.

After school on the day of the staring conversation we had to run some errands. So I decided in order to keep the kids from driving me crazy in the car we would stop at McDonalds and get them some lunch. Well I think we struck gold, because Dagen got two things of fries in his happy meal. So he tried to give them to Logen and Taite but they already had some. So I told him to give them to Beavis, referring to Graden.
Dagen says who is Beavis?
I told him I just called Graden that for fun. (it really isn't a nickname.)
Dagen says well I want to call him Chowder instead, can we?
So now I guess Graden's new nickname is Chowder, and I have no idea where he came up with it but it works I guess, I actually have called him that a few times since.
